Today, we woke up to snow. The kids were thrilled.
Noah kept falling over in his snowsuit, so Emily was helping him up. And our hammock flipped in the wind yesterday, so it became a tightrope.
David went out to play with the kids and throw snowballs.
He taught Ben the proper technique for making a snowball.
First, you have to gather a big ball...
...and pack it.
Ben's didn't turn out well, so David gave him his.
He did what any 5 year old boy would do and pegged his Dad with a snowball.
Noah, on the other hand, is a die hard like his sister. He stayed outside until the snowman was complete.
The snow just keeps coming, and it's perfect timing as the kids and David have tomorrow off for President's Day.
Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow!

LOL! I wonder who was having the most fun... father or kids? I hope everyone has a fun time and lucky that everyone gets to stay home on Monday. Growing up we never constructed snow men who got to sit on chairs. Lucky Frosty. Now we will wait for the ☼ and the big melt. Enjoy your long weekend.

Great pictures :) It seems that the best thing about the snow you receive, it's gone so quickly and warmth returns, whereas here, you know - it sticks around all winter. Thanks to our February heat wave of 50s and low 60s, ALL of ours is now finally melted. Well... technically all... the most giant ice mountains in the parking lots still remain slightly. But there is presently no snow in our yard and I hope it stays like that!! :)
Have a great day tomorrow. We're all off too.
Love,
Linda
