Sofas

We bought a large sectional back when we lived in Phoenix, about 8 years ago. It was good at the time. But over the years, it's just gotten too soft. So soft that David's back hurts sitting on it. We've been hating it for years. It just kind of looks like a lumpy mess most of the time. This was it this morning:
We don't have a ton of furniture options up here. And it's a super pain to buy something in Phoenix, rent a Uhaul and bring it up here. So, we usually see what Costco and Sams have every year and never quite like anything. We looked at Costco last week and didn't love anything. We thought we were just going to settle with frumpy lumpy sofa for another year.

Then, David went to run errands today, and texted me with a photo that said, "found our sofas!". We wanted a sofa and a loveseat that recline. No more sectionals. And no power recliners. They just break. We are fine with ones that you have to pull a lever. So, he bought it and came home to get our van and make two trips to Costco. Luckily, he went by our friends, who have a truck, and they went up there together. We are grateful we have such a great friend who drops what he is doing to help us out. We love it. I'm not sure why the pic has that little circle in it, but whatever, you get the idea.

We moved frumpy to our living room. She looks better fluffed and with pillows. She will sit there until someone on Craigslist buys her. We are also selling our spider dome tomorrow. The kids just don't play with it anymore and it's a very large, expensive towel rack. So, our living room is crammed right now, but it'll clear out more tomorrow.

Everyone loves the new sofa and the new rules, no eating anywhere near it, no standing on it, no shoes. :)

Noah isn't feeling well, but he approves of the sofa and already feel asleep for the night.

Now, we are exhausted and ready for bed.

That's looks great, Gina!! :) Love it. Reminds me of what we have in our living room - our only sofa of course in our "tiny living" house, lol, but it does the job.

Hope you have a great week.
