For the first 33 years of my life, I lived in Phoenix.  Seasons don't exsist in Phoenix. It's either super hot or super nice. Moving to Prescott, I was looking forward to experiencing seasons. What I didn't realize was how much I'd love seasons.

Today was rainy and cold and we turned on our fireplace. I'm thankful for this town we call home and the seasons it brings.

This is such a comfy looking picture of Emily all snuggled up with her blanket by the fireplace, in my favorite chair. :)
The different seasons will always be the thing I miss here in Fl. Even though the people here believe we have different seasons,I've never been able to convince myself that we do. So, I'm glad you get to enjoy them.

I have a friend in Tampa Florida who is always writing about the change of fall season and it kind of irks me every time because I'm thinking - come on, there are no true change of seasons in a warm place like that!! G's comment, reinforces my belief in that! ♥

I'm glad you get at least a little taste of seasonal change, though I wonder - do all of your leaves on the trees change and fall off like here? Everything is completely brown, grey and bare now here. Well, all except for 1 tree - our late Bradford Pear that is in full color. But soon, those leaves will fall too and everything will be barren.

I love your fireplace - wish we had one!!

Love, Linda
