Graduating

Last month, Emily took graduation pictures at school complete with cap and gown. Then, her teacher sent home the monthly newsletter and I saw the graduation ceremony was set for the last day of school. I e-mailed David (we don't text) and told him to save the date. I can't believe the year is almost over.

Emily started Kindergarten as probably the youngest kid in her class, making the cut off by 1 day. This was her first school picture taken about a month after school started. She looked so shy, unsure and still like a little girl.

Here is her graduation photo.

She looks like she could take on the world...
and deck someone with that diploma.
That's our girl. We couldn't be more proud.

Cute photos :) We never had anything like this, not even for Sarah, though she will be graduating from 8th grade this May and that too is a pretty big thing for us, we'll be hosting a graduation party and then it's High School. Hold on, because it does indeed go that fast.

So sweet! I love the picture. Yes, there has been so much learned and processed during the past 6 months, Imagine what she will be like a year from now!☼
Love,
